When It Come To Online Business ,No One Cares About You

In fact when it come to business as a whole, no one cares about you.

You see, your mum ,dad or immediate family may love you and can do anything for you…but when it come to business whether online or offline ..no one does.

Makes sense?

Let me explain further.

You should know this already.

We are wired to think about what we can gain  or benefit. It is how we stay alive. It is how God created us.

We wake up every day thinking about what we can do for ourselves .What we can eat .What we can do …before we start thinking of others.

(sorry folks, it’s the truth)

Here is a good example .

If you are reading this article right now…it is because you believe it is going to help you achieve something or learn something that will somehow …help you get your heart desire.

You are not necessary reading it because you like me… you are doing it because you are going to get VALUE or solve a problem.

Another example.

When you board a taxi , you are not doing it because you like the taxi driver… you are doing it because the guy is rendering a service to you.

A service that solves you transportation problem.

Now, I know what you may be thinking.

“how does this relate to online business?”

Well it does and I will show you in a minute.

A lot of people think that the online world is different . They think online business is different.

They just think it is the internet so things must be different.

Well , I got bad news for you.

IT’S THE SAME.

People still care about themselves and will only come to you if you can help them solve their problems , wants and desires.

Make no mistake , human behavior does not make a U-turn online.

So Why All This Rant.

Well,  the other day  I was helping a sister’s friend create a free blog on blogger .when I asked her what she wanted to write about.

She gave me a blank look and said…”I will write about my life”

Well, there nothing wrong with that …only that if you intend to make money with the blog then…you need to rethink your whole strategy.

So in 20 minutes , I schooled her on the need to create a blog that will bring value to people.

I showed her different ways to create value online.

…And people are always drawn to value…ALWAYS.

You see, no one really cares about the things happening in your life (unless that thing brings some form of value in their life’s). This could be entertainment , help , advice or helping people achieve their goals.

So if you own a blog , and you are not thinking about what people want … or is not writing articles that will help people solve their problems, achieve their goals and desires , you will not attract people to the blog.

No one will spend 1 minute reading stuff that adds no value to their lives.

HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE. 

      

All your online projects or business should be geared towards helping people achieve their goals and desires.
